I like that asahi actually stepped up and managed to "defeat" the wyvern, though I think it's frustrating the show hasn't at least had one of his skills level up. Like after all of the times that he has used it, you would imagine it would at least be lvl 2.

Asahi is a character that is deliberately written as completely useless and worthless because we are supposed to dislike him. Author is clearly making a gag out of [Le Useless Isekai MC] whos only purpose is to collect a harem even though he is trash.
And I am personally very pleased. I like watching this pathetic excuse for a parasite fail to improve or make progress because I enjoy hating him for being such a piece of garbage. My only complaint is that he doesn't get beaten enough.
